Weak, reused passwords are the easiest way for accounts to get hacked. This free generator uses your browser's cryptographic random number generator (crypto.getRandomValues) with unbiased sampling, so every character is truly random — no patterns, no dictionary words.
The strength meter estimates entropy from length and character variety: longer passwords with all four character types quickly reach "Excellent". And because everything happens on your device, your new password is never transmitted, logged or stored anywhere — by us or anyone else.
